changes

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last blogged. We’ve been busy with adjustments in our new life and roles at East Side Baptist Church in Asheboro, NC. We’re settled into the parsonage now and enjoying life off of the road. All of the kids are enjoying having friends that they don’t have to say goodbye to at the end of a week. Of course, we truly miss our friends that we had gotten used to seeing every year, and especially miss the church family that was dear to our hearts in Arizona.

We have a homeschool room this year and I am immensely enjoying that change. The kids are able to stay more focused and I believe are benefiting academically. Rylan is in 2nd grade, Reagan is in K-5 and Rhen is in K-4.

God allowed me to carry a baby for a few weeks which he carried home to Himself in February. We were saddened, but at the same time at peace because we know our precious one is home with our Savior.

We are expecting again and are looking forward to meeting our new little boy who is due this coming February. What a blessing it is to be given the opportunity to rear children for the Lord! We are daily in prayer for the wisdom and patience we need to be the parents God would have us to be.

God is good!!
